You have found the Town of Northborough Recreation Department. This website is the communication center of the department. We try to keep it up to date with information about what we do. If you are new to our site, please create a household account.AccessibilityThe Recreation Department strives to make programs accessible to all. If participants need any special accommodations they should contact the Recreation Department. Refunds and Withdrawals Refunds are only issued when a class is canceled by the Recreation Dept. No other refunds will be given. Classes are non-transferable. The deadline to withdraw from a class is no later than 5 business days before the start of a class. Those withdrawing will receive a credit toward another recreation program. All refunds are paid with a check from the Town. Please allow 10-14 business days. Wait ListsIf you are added to a wait list and an opening becomes available we will automatically send an email to the first person on the list. If you receive a wait list email, you will have 24 hours to respond and register for the program. After 24 hours, the next person on the wait list will be notified. and we will move down the list until the spot has been filled.Weather Related cancellationsNo refunds will be issued due to inclement weather. One make-up date may be offered as scheduling allows but is not guaranteed. Email and Text Blasts Program delays or cancellations due to weather will be communicated through e-mail and text message. We will use the email address provided in your household account at www.northboroughrecreation.com. To opt in to receive text updates, please go to your household account and click on notifications to add a mobile number.Missed Programs DaysWe cannot refund fees for missed program days, as your payment is based on enrollment not attendance. We will not offer a refund for missed days due to vacation, calendar conflicts or personal choice. Please note that non-disclosure of medical, academic, psychological or behavioral challenges that result in withdrawal or removal from the program cannot be refunded.ProratingWe are unable to register children for partial weeks of programs. When you sign up for a class, please select one where you anticipate attending the full week or session, when possible.Options for RegisteringWalk-in: Visit our office to pay with cash, check, or credit card. Mail-in: Download a registration form from our website and mail with payment payable to the Town of Northborough. Online: Visit www.northboroughrecreation.com to register with a credit card. Photo ReleasePhotographs and videos that represent our programs help share what we do with new participants and families. At checkout we ask you to agree to the Policies/Terms and Waivers.
