We’re thrilled to have your child join us for a summer packed with fun, friends, and adventure. Please read this letter carefully to ensure your child has a smooth, enjoyable experience with us. Program Overview Our program takes place at Lincoln Street Elementary School all summer, utilizing the cafeteria, gym, classrooms, and outdoor facilities (tennis courts (MMS), basketball courts, playground, etc.). With the school’s air filtration system, most rooms feel air-conditioned. We keep kids comfortable with water activities and more to beat the heat! Our summer program runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, for seven weeks. It is for kids going into grades K through 6. Kids (grades 3 – 6) will have the option to go on field trips on Wednesdays for an additional price. REGISTRATION INFORMATION Registration for Summer 2025 begins on February 1st, online at northboroughrecreation.com. Registration closes one week before each session or upon filling.  NEW***Registration is open to only Northborough residents from 9am – 11am. At 11am registration will open to all Towns. Please make sure your child’s current grade is correct in the registration system before registration. Registration is due in Full: You must pay in full for the weeks you want. NEW***Deadline to withdraw for a refund: The deadline to withdraw from the summer program and receive a refund (Minus $20/week/child) is Feb. 17th. Feb. 18 – March 17th you can cancel with a $50/week/child cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued after March 17th. 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM	Rec Summer Program Field Trips - Week 1 - Boundless Adventures 7/2 Each week Northborough Recreation will take a field trip on Wednesdays (with the exception of Week 7 which is a Thursday) to a new location. Field trips are optional for grades 3-6. There will be activities planned back at the school for any children who do not wish to attend the field trips. We have a limit of 45 children per trip. If the trip you are interested in is full - PLEASE add your child to the waitlist and if we get enough kids interested in that trip we will try to accommodate with another bus!Food will be provided on certain field trips. More information will be sent out as we get closer to the dates. (Trips and dates are subject to change for inclement weather, availability, etc.)**Please be aware that these field trips are ONLY available to children who are signed up for the Recreation Summer Program, and must be on a week that they are registered.Field Trip Registration will be March 18 @ 9am.

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM	Rec Summer Program Field Trips - Week 3 - Kimball Farm 7/16 Each week Northborough Recreation will take a field trip on Wednesdays (with the exception of Week 7 which is a Thursday) to a new location. Field trips are optional for grades 3-6. There will be activities planned back at the school for any children who do not wish to attend the field trips. We have a limit of 45 children per trip. If the trip you are interested in is full - PLEASE add your child to the waitlist and if we get enough kids interested in that trip we will try to accommodate with another bus!Food will be provided on certain field trips. Field trips are optional for grades 3-6. There will be activities planned back at the school for any children who do not wish to attend the field trips. We have a limit of 45 children per trip. If the trip you are interested in is full - PLEASE add your child to the waitlist and if we get enough kids interested in that trip we will try to accommodate with another bus!Food will be provided on certain field trips.
