At Code Wiz, we believe that learning to code is the easiest way to shape your child’s future. Our students develop programming skills along with invaluable approaches to critical thinking and problem solving. Best of all, anyone can learn to code—no matter their age, tech proficiency or personal interests. We’ve designed fun, flexible programs to ensure every child becomes a wiz!
In our LEGO WeDo Robotics course, you'll have hands-on experience in building STEM projects! Using LEGO block and coding with drag n drop techniques, you'll get to build your own robotic models and create the code to make your robots come alive! You will use motors, motion sensors, tilt sensors to make fun robots! You'll also have the opportunity to participate in FLL Jr. challenge! As part of this camp, you will learn everything you need to know to design and 3D print your own creations! You'll learn TinkerCAD, an awesome 3D modeling program that will let you design just about anything. You won't just get to design, we'll print out your favorite creation for you to take home!
Camp Outcomes: By the end of the week, each camper would have created their own robots! They will have learned how to make their robots come alive using drag and drop coding. They will have learned about using motors to build motions, motion sensors and so much more. They will have learned 3D modeling, XYZ coordinates and they will get a printed design to take home!
