Expert-led dance without the stress of dress codes, costumes and recitals!

  • Designed to develop coordination, rhythm, flexibility and a love for music and dance, children are introduced to the ballet barre and terminology. This class emphasizes body awareness while instilling a love for dance, and culminates in a performance for parents in our studio on the final day of class.
  • Children can wear whatever they’d like to class--from classic ballet attire to princess-wear to pajamas—as long as they are able to move comfortably.
  • Please purchase for your child any pair of ballet and tap shoes that work for you. While you are welcome to purchase known brands, such as Capezio, Danskin and Bloch, Payless and Target also carry dance shoes.
  • Run by instructors at Root and Sprout, 107 Otis Street, Northborough.
