Block Island, nestled in the Atlantic, 12 miles from coastal Rhode Island, offers visitors what does not seem possible anymore-simple relaxation in a startling beautiful place.  This island is famous for its miles of free public beaches, sparkling clear waters, dramatic bluffs, preserved open spaces, and fun-filled activities for visitors of all ages.  Register for this new trip, featuring scenic sights, ferry cruise, & full course luncheon.



 


More About This Trip
  • Departure today is at 8am from Melican Middle School on your luxury Silver Fox Motor Coach.
  • Your first destination is Point Judith, Rhode Island, where you’ll board your ferry for an invigorating one hour ride to Block Island.
  • Here, you’ll enjoy an 1 1/4 hour tour across the Island with a native Block Island guide. A delicious luncheon also awaits you at the National Hotel. This unique property offers Victorian Charm and fine cuisine along with an ocean view. Entrees include Grilled Salmon, Pan Seared Chicken, or Seafood Cakes, served with salad, starch, vegetable, rolls, dessert & beverage. (Will have to make meal choices at time of registration.)
  • You’ll also have time to browse the shops and enjoy the atmosphere in this very elegant and beautiful small town. You’ll depart at 4:00 PM, arriving back home at approximately 7:00 PM after a delightful day on Block Island.
  • Children under 18 allowed with a parent; we do not recommend that very young kids attend this trip.
  • Trip includes: transportation to and from the ferry onboard a Luxury Silver Fox CD/DVD/Wifi Motor Coach, round trip Block Island ferry, Block Island Sightseeing Tour, full course luncheon at the National Hotel
