Come have some fun playing soccer with your friends.  Teams will be formed at the beginning of the season and coached by volunteer parents.  Every Sunday, teams will practice for 30 minutes, and then play a game for the remaining 30 minutes.   Practices will stress on soccer fundamentals for beginners and install confidence in the kids to compete.  The goal of this program is to expose the kids to their first organized sport and encourage them to run, kick and laugh in a team environment.
 
Parent Volunteers needed!  Interested in coaching your child’s team? We are in need of one coach per team, for 6-8 teams, to help coach under the direction of lead instructors Ava and Eliza Ellis. No experience is necessary, although helpful, and training will be provided. All coaches will be CORI’d by the Recreation Department.  You do not need to be a Northborough resident to coach or play!  Your child/children will automatically be registered for your team. To apply as a volunteer, please email recreation@town.northborough.ma.us or call the office at (508) 393-5034.

Inclement Weather
  • This program will not run in heavy rain or threat of thunder/lightning.
  • Cancellation will be sent via email blast.

What's Needed?
We will provide a team t-shirt.
Kids should wear cleats or sneakers.
Shin guards are suggested.
Balls will be provided.
